I know your busy... 1.97 for the MAC

Laurino-

I know your busy with 1.98 & WL1.0 but I was wondering what was necessary to make 1.97 MAC compatible. From what I gathered 1.96 is not that different and the changes are mostly graphics. How difficult is it to make the changes? I'm not a modder but is it something I could do, or at least hand off to a expert on our (MACs) side? All you'd need to do is open the .exe so we could download and access the files, and let us know what needed to changed.

Thanks,
Dalmuti

I really don't know how to port TAM to Mac, but you can do it if you want, it would be nice!

Well I'm not entirely sure either, but Thamis and Seven05 did it for 1.96. I believe that it's matter of removing some special characters in the XML and not being able to use the DDL. If your still in contact with either of those guys I'm sure they could tell us what needs to be addressed, or at least what to look for. In any case if you make the mod available as a .zip (no exe) I can probably get someone in the Civ4Mac clan to figure it out.

Thanks again by the way.

Hey Just Checking in.

Laurino,

Any luck on finding out what changes are needed to make a MAC version work? If not, I'm sure some of the guys in the CivVI MAC forum could figure it out by looking over 1.96.

Anyway if you can take a moment and zip up a copy and post it somewhere for us to download we MAC folks would really appreciate it.

Thanks again

Dalmuti
