Unit ideas

During my paper round i came up with some ideas.

1)Unit health-each unit gets health like cities the health depends on the square the units standing on and resourses and depending on the amount of units in stacks (so the bigger the stack less health each unit has)

2)Unit happyness-same as above but for happyness the more a unit has the better it fights the more battles its in without visit to homeland (culture boarders)it goes down.it will gain if there is a GG in the stack.the more in a unit more chance the unit will run and not fight.

3)Equipment desruction-each unit has 125% equipment. if a unit has 75% equipment the units has 75% of strength if it has 125% it only has 100% strenght.Each attack can destory your equipment so you will need new equipment ,so if your on your land or in a city with your trade routes the equipment will go up by 25% per turn but if you have lost the resourse(oil,coal etc)it can't gain new equipment,if on the resoucre you need for units it goes up by 50%.

4)first strickes
i-if a unit attacks with 75% of health the first strickes are 75% effective.
ii-if you have a stack of 1 archer and axemen so when the axemen is attacked the axemen gets the first strickes the amount depends on he amount of archerey units there is.this will make archer's more valueable in stacks and in turn protective.

I dont know about the first 2. It would be interesting but i think it would be too much micro management. Civ is such a big game that take can make everything perfect. those things might make this more realistic but for me is hard/annoying enough to keep my citys happy and healthy. But doing that for every unit... would drive me crazy.

for 3 and 4. Again i think its alittle to much to try and keep track of every turn.

you chould get a adviser to pop up like with cities.
