Hello all. I have a question.
As i recall, on the back of the box for colonization (it got destroyed in a fire) there was a picture of a city screen. I seem to remember that the city screen has an expanded area of influence i.e. there were an extra 16 squares available to place farmers etc on around the normal 8. If you look in the city screen you can see where these 16 squares would show, but they are boarded up. Can you play with the 24 squares, or am i just going mad? |

Brian said that city radius was meant to expand (just like Civ3) when city hit a certain size. It was in the game all until alpha, possibly beta, version. So you might well have seen pictures showing this.
But YOU never played a version where city expanded. Unless you were a MicroProse beta tester or developer at that time. C. |

I've had cities that were really really big! But none of 'em could ever use more land.
Loyalty also doesn't have influence on land occupation (no culture expanding ).
