Some units dont have there skins?!
This is weird! After i playd warlords for about 6 hours my computer freezes (my Graphic card) and it shows me a black screen!? I restarted my comp and it done some weird restart too...
then i open civ 4 warlords and see some of my units and leader heads pink/red (like they have no skin) These units are like red ball: Swordsman, spy, mechanized infantry, great engineer, explorer, destroyer, caravel! I reinstalld bouth civ 4 and warlords and the problem remains there... please guys help me... |

The red ball happened to me once, when I unpaked the fpk files into the Assets folder (vanilla) and also the game crashed when I tried to look at a Leaderhead. Uninstalling the game, deleting the Folder, and reinstalling fixed it.

Those red balls you are describing usually occur when the game cant locate the skins for the units / buildings. Ive encountered it when writing mods for the game (new to it still). Perhaps your civ4 install is corrupted somehow?
