I created a mod, and it's effects are not taking place...
Okay, I created a mod, and the effects of the mod are not taking place. There's a new .dll and a few different XML files. I have all the BTS XML files in there though. I have set it up as a mod pack, and when I load it as a mod, it loads up, but the effects aren't working. It's working just like it was unmodded. Is there something special you're supposed to do?
Also, I have a couple of other questions: I would also like to edit the religions to make them different a little. For instance, I'll take away the health bonus from "tryef" foods for cities with Judaism, and give them an extra trade route. This would apply for all cities with Judaism if the state religion was not Judaism, and would apply to all cities if the state religion was Judaism. I'd have to do reashearch to find out what to do with other religions. I basically want to give eigher a very minor bonus, or give a penelty and a reasonable sized bonus for each religion. Where are the files for all those things? And In the gamespeedinfo file there is nothing with espionage. Is there an easy way to change the espionage point requirement or change the effect of poison water supply/forment unhappiness by speed? Thanks |
