Vertical Farms
Later in the game, we should be able to build vertical farms. +1 food for every hammer produced. This way we don't have to allot many land to farm production. And could speed up the space race.
The vertical farm was has bases on reality, as demonstrated by this BBC article. Back in the days, people thought I was crazy, as shown here but now, look who's laughing.

The SUPEREGO, those who believe they have the moral high ground, the EGO who operates on reality, and the STRATEGO who reacts without thinking about the consequences. In their ideal world, everybody would want to be a STRATEGO because it's the most satisfying, but they couldn't, because being a STRATEGO requires a good amount of fearless wit. We are spreading freedom and democracy in places like Iraq and Afghanistan so we don't have to deal with them here at home. |

That'd be really awesome, but I just don't see it happening in civilization. Although, you never know ..

A good idea. It should give +1
to farms, towns, and city squares.

Vertical farms save land. Vertical farms - good science in action.
