Five hundred years after being driven into the underworld after an accidental summoning of undead dragons, humanity has finally recovered enough to return to the surface. There they will find abandoned cities and remnants of the Golden Age, a time when humanity could animate the elements and death was a thin barrier. However, some are suspicious of magic, it did cause the fall of man after all, and are investing their time manipulating nature to accomplish their ends, not animating it.
This mod will mix magic with technology. This will add a layer of depth by influencing the tech tree, improving combat, and changeing the landscape of the game. Equipping your melee units with enchanted weaponry gives them strength bonuses and ranged units equipped with fire stones can cause cities and the county side go up in flames. Additionally, some units can cause earthquakes, summon whirlpools, and cause the sky to rain fire. Unit graphics will also change based upon how their equipped. Provide a unit with fire stones will cause thier weapon to grow and give them a boost in combat.
What's being worked on:
Currently I'm setting up the units so that their weapons will change when they're equiped with enchanted weapons. A version of the dragon spawn system from my mod Alagaesia is also being added. It's set up to that it only uses python on the game's start so the turns are still as fast as in stock BTS.
What I could use some help on:
I need to make it so all melee and archery units have a .nif version with a fire graphic attached. I already have the archer and catapult unit thanks to rabbit white, but I haven't begun to work on any others yet.
If any one could help me add fire graphics to all the units tell me and I'll send a list of units.
