Every City a human being

A pretty abstract thread, but I was just thinking, almost every aspect of a city can be compared to a person! People mightnt want to reveal too much, but everybody has in their life a corresponding amount of ,(plenty for me) ,(even more, although would be even higher if not for Civ, ,(not much. I have courthouse, but not many cottages ;-) ,(I'm a lazy bastard, truth be told) ,No big qualifications, but going back to college soon, so you might say someone is building a science academy in me, ,pretty into art, so Influential) ,(none, an Athiest leaning agnostic) etc etc... and the specialists are things you know lots about, so while I have no priests, I do have a couple scientists, and maybe a settled great artist!!!

do I play Civ too much?

Yea, Ralph, yea you do....

Hmmm.... (it's up, it down, it up, it down...bloody spies) (Except for the once-a-year cold, I'm good) (Productive, when I'm in gear) (Up there....somewhere) (err....wha?) (Well, something's up there) (I have some in my pocket right now, is all...)

Grah, you might not be the only one who plays too much....

I think I've built the Globe Theatre because people always say that I am too

My was great until last year... then had some problems

Basically I'm all about and with very little

I'm running a free religion, so no at best I could be described as agnostic

I don't give a monkeys about cottages so not much or so I guess all my science is coming from

I seem to have managed to nerf colonies tax though, so my expenses are rather low!

I definitely love my

I'm mostly pacifist until someone tries to attack my spearman with a tank... then

Edit: I guess my civics are: Representation, Free Speech, Tribalism, Environmentalism and a combo of Free Religion and Pacifism.

Reading this thread, I come to the conclusion that I am happy for no true reason...
This thread is going to make me enter in depression!

i'm , running 40% , 30% and 30% and i'm lazy ( few )

i also a bit to know my opponents (and i'm good at it!)

i don't like Physical Education, so few , but i'm used to run from my older, bigger foes, so my high helps here

i'm with Free Religion, so no (State)

i like GOOD

much of what i know at History comes from Civ, so if you build that improvement, you get extra

(True: i never seen silk being made, and from Civ 3, it came from Forests/Jungle (still in that tiles in Civ 4) and said in Geography that silk came from MINES in jungle areas!!! (my automated Civ3 workers always mine them). My geography teacher is the biggest dumb*ss you can think of, and also very demanding and annoying and idiotic and evil... (what if he discovers that I wrote this? ) and yell at me... but i still said that silk came from trees... lost the 30 min. break (and temporary deaf because he screemed alot right next to my ears... B*st*rd!)(only to get an idea, he's teaching my class for 3 years and with is goorila face, strong voice and chimp body, he've been calling him all the time Monkey Teacher !!!(of course he doesn't know it!!!))

EDIT: great idea for a thread, i like it!

I'm a medium sized city specialized mainly for beaker output.

I have at least 5 longbows and a catpult for collateral damage of an invader.

Cultural defense, high , over 100% - on a hill .

I'm coastal ,with a lighthouse , and have trade routes with a few other cities.

I'll never be the capital but at least I'm not a fur outpost on tundra.

It seems safe to say that almost everyone playing civ and posting in these forums has a serious deficiency in the area.

Before anyone gets offended at that, realize that I am also playing civ and posting in these forums.

I wish I could have some sort of Ironworks in my real life personal city.

I'm 100% , in every game I've ever played I've always been an advocate of technological superiority. It's my personal belief that technological superiority could win 9 out of 10 games (not only civ4 games too .

My national wonders would be the Oxford University and Wall Street cos I love money

I would be a coastal city cos I love the sea . Probably not too many water squares though, I need the money from cottages for science output

My civics would be Representation (my father's a local councillor and I hope to also be one someday), Free Speech (I'm a huge believer of it), Emancipation, Free Market (I'm also a huge supporter of free market, and of globalisation to talk in the larger picture) and Theocracy (I love religion and the idea that it plays a huge part in government decision-making)

me too! i had terrible history teachers in school (but none that i called Monkey Teacher, that was a funny description ) so i never got interested in it. every expansion there are all these leaders i've never heard of. hubby minored in history and laughs about what i don't know. opposites attract .

ps the word for when you can't hear is "deaf". i'm glad that it was only temporary, so you can still hear the war trumpets in civ. *giggle*

Quite happy actually. Although it is getting a little crowded
Very healthy, but recently, a has poisoned my water supply (I've been sick, probably from food poisoning)
I've been saving up some cash for something good, but I'm not producing a viable income from my Cottages
My production would be at 0 hammers. I have no job and I'm still in school. No production
I'm not good at art, so my culture would be Poor
I'm quite skinny, but with a fast metabolism, so my consumption is high, however the has made me eat less, because I don't feel right
I'm Agnostic here, no state religion
This is quite low. I'm a pacifist kind of person who gets bullied by younger people at school.
Can't have that now can I? Who to trade with?
I'd probably become a Great Engineer or something
I'm not very well on this issue. I like my science subjects, but do I need them?

Civics:

Universal Suffrage (I believe in equality and all that. And that hammer might help if I had a Town)

Free Speech (I talk a lot IRL)

Emancipation (Freedom for everyone)

A mix of State Property (Comrades!) and Environmentalism (I try to turn off leaky taps, throw rubbish in a recycling bin if it can be recycled but I'm sort of only preserving my own environment, not someone else's, so I won't throw someone else's rubbish in a bin)

Theocracy (because I'm Agnostic and no religion can spread to me, so that sort of makes it logical)

You, my good sir, should receive a cookie for having such a well layed out post. So good, I'll have my post based on yours!

Health is going up as I condition for the upcoming basketball season
I've been deficit spending for a while, so it's in the red, but I have reserves
I was producing some but currently unemployed, but have a seasonal job in the winter. The bad news? It's not winter yet.
It's a mish mash of many cultures, with me being an immigrant and living in a sizeable city where 50% of the population are visible minorities
I'm trying to lose weight, so I've stopped working the farm/fridge tiles
What kind of a gp is a doctor?
Alright.
