PolyCast Episode 32 with "Nugog" and "Snotty"

The thirty-second episode of PolyCast (PC) has arrived entitled "Quite Enough of That" (59m30s). Regular co-hosts 'DanQ', 'Locutus', 'Makahlua' and 'Imran Siddiqui' are joined by returning guests 'Nugog' and 'Snotty'.

Topics are:

NEWS (04m40s)
An intellectual's review of Civilization IV and CivIV: Complete available outside the Americas.

MODCAST (14m00s)
The use of gifting units and are CivIV's Wonders biased towards the United States.

RESEARCH LAB (27m36s)
War weariness for workers and troops, a so-called parasite unit that will morph certain others, the case for spy promotions and giving attributes to terrain with peaks and ice.

MAILBAG (38m36s)
An email with reply and follow-up on recent episodes and the show in general, a voicemail from a now familiar name about running Beyond the Sword on a Mac (with in-house reference to a Linux how-to for base game), and feedback from the most recent episode.

The PC team is also looking for your input on a few direct issues towards improving the show.

Enjoy.

Did you happen to listen to the episode, LlamaCat?

(I did not receive/have not yet received email notification of your original reply, so if you mentioned or alluded to this point in it I didn't see/haven't seen it.)

In between my follow-up and now, I received via email notification your original post. It puts your edit in full context.

(Everyone else is probably going ... )

where do you guys (and gal) actually physically get together to record these things? it's hard to imagine what other Civ players look like and where they live and what they do. maybe someday it will be a web cast...

one of you said something that was really funny but I can't remember it now, it's driving me crazy. it was a good pun or something

We co-hosts have never met in person.

See http://polycast.apolyton.net/about.php#production

A live show you mean?

-- most episodes have a number of puns, so without any more specifics...

Man, would that be difficult considering that every co-host is located in a different country! Granted, since Apolyton would be so kind as to pay for the travel arrangements.....

That I live in one part of Canada and Maki and Imran live in two different parts of the United States would make that complicated enough -- Wouter lives in the Netherlands.

You must be speaking of another Apolyton out there...

Imran lives in the US? For some reason I thought he was either French or Australian. Not for sure where that came from...
