Sys ErrorIO (date, plgi, cnsl)

This is an old one that Ainwood helped me with in 2005. No I can't find the thread. Prob is that I get popup's saying like in the title when trying to load pbem's. Solo games is no prob.
I think the fix was to rewrite something in an .ini file, but cannot rmember for sure. Please help me with this or I cannot play c3c on my brand new laptop . I have 1.22 running fine.

This is the thread I think you are thinking of: Data error when loading multiplayer games.

At least, this is only thread in this part of the forum where someone mentions your name in a post.

I googled for "DATE PLGI CNSL" and found this on another web site, C3C Patch 1.20 Bug Thread.

Again you're really trying to help and I appreciate it . Checked the thread but the initial question about the load bug is never answered in any useful way. I guess I have to go out buy the complete disc. Ainwood did fix it for me last time but god knows how...

You may have to break down and PM Ainwood. He might remember the details. As since he is a Moderator, his PM limit is probably higher than ours. Or, he might be able to scan the server for all his PMs (just a guess).
