quick q on military unit xp
how can you see how much xp a unit will have if produced in that city?

I don't know if you can. Just add up all your exp bonuses for the city:
+3 for barracks for land units +2 for stable if mounted +2 for vassalage civic +2 for theocracy civic if you have state religion and that religion is present +2 for drydocks for naval units +2 if you have built the Pentagon anywhere +4 if the city has West Point +2 for every military instructor in the city +2? for airport for air units there are also some UBs that give exp, such as the Ger and Totem Pole. |

It isn't specifically listed anywhere, but it's pretty trivial to work it out, as Xanadux explains. If you're really in doubt you could just build a unit and see.

No it's not listed anywhere. So like MrCynical said its better off just to build a unit. BTW xanadux its +4 for a barracks =)

Barracks provide +4 XP in vanilla, and +3 in BTS(I never played warlords). IIRC, Drydocks and Airports provide +4 XP for the appropriate unit type.

Barracks are +3 in warlords too, at least with the latest patches
