OOC: Would a company which releases unnecessarily confusing memos with typos be taken seriously?

OOC: hmm, good point. I'll clarify it later. maybe turn it into an internal memo. basically, we are colonizing 151-056A with robots, and we recommend you do not try to colonize without telling us first for your safety.

Uh, what? *checks Sent Items* Oh my, I thought I replied to that already. Juggling through story-writing, PM-sending, playing Civilization 3, and watching television does leave me with a bad case of confusion and false memories.
I'll just go on ahead and say (PM1) yes, because I don't particularly disagree with anything, and (PM1+2) that America was already paying and going to pay its nonmilitary debt to ASTRIS this turn and the last (if the update is to be believed) even without the prodding. |

OOC: I'll accept the first part, but the second part doesn't mean anything to me as an answer. There is a quota to fill. Can you meet the outlined requirements or not?

OOC: I guess. I mean, I don't know their costs relative to American economy. I'm thinking only Chandrasekhar knows for sure (though other very inquisitive players might), but, of course, I'll be sure to have that little line in my orders where I refer him to you and say "fill quota if possible" or something to that effect.

LC: Why is this a PreNES again?

The sun has fallen down, and the billboards are all leering, and the flags are all dead at the top of their poles. It went like this: The buildings tumbled in on themselves. Mothers clutching babies, picked through the rubble and pulled out their hair. The skyline was beautiful on fire, all twisted metal stretching upwards. Everything washed in a thin orange haze. I said; "Kiss me, you're beautiful - these are truly the last days." You grabbed my hand and we fell into it, like a daydream or a fever. We woke up one morning and fell a little further down, for sure it's the valley of death. I open up my wallet and it's full of blood. |

Because it comes before the main part and is played with simplified rules over compressed periods of time. Why did you think?

(Now let's stop doing that before it gets out of control)

sorry for the weird double post
![]() Well, I was just curious. A pre-NES does not normally tend to last 48 pages.

OOC: Well, I can tell nobody bothered reading it since nobody found the Easter Eggs. Whatever. If any of you damn fools try running for a colony we declared for again only to once more find yourselves beaten to it (I'm looking at you, Lord_Imperialist; you have enough damn rocks already and you will be getting more than just a stern letter if you try that again), can't say as you weren't full well and warned.

![]() Anyway, I'm setting the deadline at nine days from this post. This NES should be able to proceed at a much faster pace from then on.
