How Well Will Civ4 Gold Run on My Laptop?
I am getting Civ4 Gold in a few days, and I am wondering how well it will run on my laptop?
I have 446 mb RAM (Vista takes up the other 100), Windows Vista, 1.60 ghz Intel Celeron M Processor, 128 mb ATI Graphics Card. And 40 GB free on my hard drive. |

RAM is too weak.
processor is slightly weak. video card is fine. although u should tell us what card it is. rather than just ATI. |

I checked the system requirements and the minimum is 256mb of RAM, and a 1.40 ghz processor. So even almost double the RAM, and .2 more processing power is not enough, even if I slim down on the graphics?

Am afraid hes right. You have no chance. Sadly another in the pile thats increasing everday and consisting of more n more who bought a game advertised as 'playable' on their computers specs.
Imagine we had a list you could sigh for all who said this from Jan2006 and on.? Heck it would be huge and im not includin the mass amount who bought in during oct/nov/dec 2005 before patches resolved the worst flaws in design |

I didnt buy it.
MY friend let my borrow his copy to try. It is a bit laggy, but after I turned all of the graphics to low, and turned off the sidebar before I started it is ok. Now is it just the RAM that is the problem, or is it the processor too, and Vista? |
