What should our victory condition be?
This poll is to determine what victory we should achieve. If you haven't already done so, please see the discussion here before voting
Remember, the current year is 1525 as of this posting. A brief summary: Conquest - We are, by ancient tradition and decree, a peaceful society. We own 25% of the land (estimated), and would require mass mobilization. Domination - Again, we have 1/4 the land, and this would mean conquering our neighbors. Diplomatic - Via the UN. It's also a risk that we won't be voted for. Culture - Victory is aimed for 1886, but is not 100% certain. If we continue to build cultural improvements, we certainly will meet this goal. Space Ship - A nice victory for a peace-loving nation. It also requires large amounts of production. Histographic - "The Long Way". We are already #1, and we're about 3/5 through the game. This would mean a victory 2 months from now at the latest.

Voted for the Space Ship victory, if that is possible before the culture deadline.

Looks like we should continue as we have - concentrating on both culture and technology.

I agree with you donsig, the culture and space ship approaches are compatible up through tech tree item #7.
No that the war with Greece has ended, let us all focus our democratic efforts on happiness for all Phoenaticans and Victory in our time. Bill ...in PDX, we're already happy, and want all of you to join us

I think, based on this poll, we should be reminded of our ultimate goals. Every department should take a SS win into consideration and we should continue our cultural buildings. These should factor into everything we do. For example, the making of 3 or 4 super cities for building SS parts. Examining culture improvement rushing. Choosing SS technology and trading for other ones. Increasing our research...
