What is your best leader result?

Hi all,

I'm just curious about this. How good is your best leader result? You know where the game says you have the leadership qualities of ________(fill in with leader name).

I've only been rated as good as Dan Quail, but I've had final scores of only 2025 at my highest and 1500 at my lowest.

Augustus Caesar.

It's pretty easy to get Augustus Caesar with a domination victory.

It's very rare that i don't get augustus caesar if i win. I think i've won a few space race victories where i never expand beyond my initial first cities where i've gotten something lower.

Augustus Caesar if domination or conq (did one on the one just below Caesar - noble diff), lower on cultural / space, and no diploes. Time is disabled in most of my games. ALso, a few losses.

Augustus Ceasar, it's not hard to do if you go for domination/conquest.

I got Augustus Caesar with an early diplomatic win (requires BTS though).

My 2 BtS games to date were both Augustus Caesar. I thought the first one (monarch cultural 1832) might get rated down a bit because Zara invaded me at the end and took 2 cities, I gave him another city for peace, but was less than 10 turns away from the big 3 going legendary so the win was guaranteed, he landed on the wrong side of the island.

My 2nd one was a rather late space win, July 1968, but I was so far ahead in tech I would have been surprised if I didn't get AC again.

I got Augustus Caesar a couple times, but it's always due to some kind of Pangaea / Great Plains early rush domination type game which always feels cheesy.

Augustus is the only possible result I ever get, if I win.

Heh, I've never finished a great plains or pangaea game myself (I don't like all the plains/duff resource distribution on Great Plains and I don't like being boxed in fast by emperor AI on pangaea, I've not tried on monarch yet which is my "win most of the time" skill level). I prefer continents or interesting fractal maps (trying out the new BtS maps now, I've only had it for less than a week). But I'm surprised if I don't get an Augustus Caesar if I win. If I lose (unexpectedly, or play on despite a losing position), yeah, I get a crappy rating (normally Dan Quayle).

I've only played one game and it was on Cheiftan with a normal sized map and 6 civs. To which I won through conquest victory and it ranked me at the top of all the names. I don't remember what that name was though.

Obviously, having done it on the easiest of difficulties, this is nothing to write home about.

I have gotten AC through Domination and Conquest. However, I usually do not receive AC. If I go for space race or cultural victory I usually control less land/population, so I get a lower score. I played a real nail biter the other day. A space race btwn three civs on totally different continents. I could not take on two opponents and prevent there launches, so I went ahead and won that way. My ranking was pathetic. Oh well, I really enjoyed the game! Seems the rankings are too weighted towards conquest victory. Oh well, it does not effect my game play!

Roosevelt, Dan Quayle, Genghis Khan (?), Augustus Caesar. Augustus Caesar is usually reserved for Domination or Conquest Victories, but can go either way.
