Unit Maker of the Month, February 2008 jury thread

My vote goes to Plotinus. Hobbit Burglar`s animations represent a breakthrough in unitmaking.

Plotinus's Hobbit. Working with cloaks and robes can be maddeningly difficult (which is why the Korean unit I was making is not even close to being finished yet!
).

I think I like all of these equally, so I'm going to cast a sympathy vote for whoever is losing.
They are all really cool if you ask me.

OK, so I've whittled my choice down to either the Hobbit, the King Slime or the Mortis Dreadnought...
I think the Hobbits cape will do it for me.

That hobbit's cape must have taken a lot of work, time, and patience to animate, so my vote goes to Plotinus.

I had to go for the Hobbit, the cape alone wins it for me.

Truly, the cape is a breakthrough, I hope we'll see it in other units.

All 3 units are very good, but the burglar is just an impressive feat in unit making.

I voted for the Mortis Dreadnought but I knew the burglar is so far ahead that not much can change the results now.

This competition seems to suffer from red cross disease. Could everyone please upload a new preview please?

heh, my preview is still here because I use photobucket for all my previews.
I didn't know you can upload preview images in CFC itself... >_< oh well, now I only need to upload the unit files, and not the previews... ^.^ though I only have 8 units so far...

Yes, that Burglar is very sneaky. I've re-uploaded the animation now.
