The new high for malicious programs was revealed by security firm Symantec in the latest edition of its bi-annual Internet Security Threat Report. One million different viruses, trojans and etc? Thats not a small number. Even if 50% of those are active, whenever you connect to the internet with no firewall or antivirus, you can potentially get infected with 500,000 different bad things. Thats nothing to laugh at.
