Help with City placement?
I'm nearly done with constructing the look of the cities in my mod and I wanted to place them accurately so they look properly on game.
Based on the initial city files I created this. Is it accurate?

Doesn't anyone make cities any more?
I can't test all the eras myself and I would like to know if I have more room than that for each city, since I made some of them big.

From opening up the original city file, then adding your grid work over the top and reducing the transparency it seems that you accurately made the boundary sizes. I do not know if you can make a city larger and if you did would that not make for a problem on coastal tiles?

Look for the name Varwnos. I just made some cities myself, from some Alpha Centauri graphics files I found online. The end result looks like this:

![]() I don't know what graphics program you're using, so I can't advise you beyond that. I use GIMP; it allows me to build it up in layers so that it's less trouble to fix in progress. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing your results. |

Yeah, I guess you're right BadKharma.
Baltasar, slimmer than mine, so it helps. But looks like I'll have to trim some of the larger ones. The cities will be ready by Wednesday but you prolly will not be able to see it before I finalize all work in that mod. Otherwise there might be technical pollution with a similar mod, I and him already have too similar ideas it's been a burden for me to differentiate. As for Varwnos, I'm aware of him, but us being both Greeks, never works smooth in relations. Great minds often collide more than needed. I had that in the past too. We have huge egos as a nation and get offended easily, usually over nothing. Best to be friends and from a distance.
