The mod changes core game mechanics. Unless everyone you are playing with is running the mod, it will not work.

Lexad is not talking about building wealth but the gold that you get with a very large amount of hammer overflow. Since this gold is calculated before the production modifiers are undone, it is often a better conversion than wealth itself. It is probably something which should be looked at.

One more thing: Cuirassiers ignore walls and castles as a gunpowder unit they are, but Conquistadors don't. Is that intentional, or just a leftover from them being Knights once? If it ain't, please fix.

I expect that's an oversight from the Knight -> Cuirassier base unit change. I'll put it on the list as it's a simple XML edit (set bIgnoreBuildingDefense to 1 instead of 0)

i'm still getting missing terxt entries (you know TXT_KEY_) in my menus were those fixed in this patch? i'm copying over the text file nd still when i try to do a custom game its missing text lines.

This is not patch related, but BUG related. There is an XML file to remove, but I'm not sure which; you can search for that, lots of people had the same problem

Correct. Remove the file [Custom]Assets/XML/Text/CIV4GameText_BTS.xml from where you installed BUG. Note also that we just released BUG 3.5 last weekend.

If by "last update" you mean Dresden's unofficial update to Solver's patch, then yes -- this issue got fixed there (thankfully). There is also a new version coming soon.

patch v3.17

I instaled patch v3.17 for the civIV-beyond the sword,
but after restarting the game didn,t start.
What is wrong?

@stfo: If you tried to update from in-game it often fails. Otherwise, the best places to look for advice are the (Official) 3.17 Release Topic and the Tech Support forum. Also, Welcome to CFC
