Arms and Legs
I haven't played much yet, but the arms and legs I've seen are pretty much the same, and none have any special attributes. In fact the ones I've seen can each be scroll-wheeled around to look like the others. Are there any arms or legs that make any difference in gameplay?
I guess I find it odd that there are so many spots for arms and legs, and they don't really seem differentiated from each other aside from segment bulk.

Yeah, that's it. There are smooth leg segments, and muscled leg segments. I just build my legs segment by segment and see how it goes. The legs themselves are stylistic choices.

I once created a creature with its legs tied up in half hitches.

I don't think you can extend the number of joints above what is preset (usually 3 or 4 joints).

You can have as long as you want, but there is a problem with the complexity meter the longer the legs. You can also have a leg coming out of a leg, for example have a normal 5 joint leg, then at joint 2 have 2 legs come out, one with 3 joints and one with 7 joints. That is possible, but not practical.

To add joints:
Alt is the copy button, Ctrl is the remove button. Just try around for a bit, you should be able to get it quickly. |
