As some of you know, the main computer in my house has been down for a good while. This is the computer with Civ, some other games, TF2 and the rest of my Steam games, as well as the Spore creature creator. Today we removed the hard drive and copied all the files, reinstalled windows, and restored most of everything. Once I put Steam back I can just reinstall everything (I sure hope my achievements and weapon unlocks are still there
).However, the Spore CC game files have mysteriously dissapeared. I still have all the data for my creatures and such, but the actual game is gone. I got the CC via the $10 download, and I still have my receipt from EA. I'd rather not be cheated out of my ten bucks, but Christ knows if they'd honor it and let me download it again without paying. So the question is: Does the complete SPORE have the complete CC included in it? I'd really rather not go through the negotiations with EA's support to get CC back if I can just get regular SPORE like I planned to anyway.

OK neat. I just know how it would probably be a pain in the ass to go through whatever cokamaemi process to get the program again. I'll just get Spore.

Additionally, I heard that you have to uninstall the CC to install the full game- is this true?

Yes, you do. So either way, you'd end up not having it on your pc. Kinda sucks if your creations are all gone though.

They shouldn't be, I still have the "My Spore Creations" folder with all the creature files.

Yea if you have that folder, you are ok. And Spore does force you to uninstall the CC. But it does use your pre-existing CC identity, so I don't think you need to reinstall SporeCC if you're about to install Spore, to get your refund.
