multiple creatures in my creations, the madness!

I have something like 96 creatures in my creations, 84 of which are all the same creature with small changes. I know this might be a "feature"...but I am seriously getting annoyed with having to delete all but a few of them and especially because none of them are in the "My Creations" folder. Is there a place where these are all located that I can easily delete them in Windows Explorer?

I went there and took a look but it only has 3-4 iterations of the specific creature and not the 80 something that are present in "my creations" page in spore itself.

I think this might actually be a save game "feature". My GF and I are saving every 10-20 minutes because of my crashing problem, so that would explain the 80 odd iterations of them in the game
