Stuff that was dropped from the game?

I've heard some cool stuff was dropped from the game. Anyone know any more about that?

I've just watched part of a 2006 video for E3 or somesuch (viewing videos is painful on my slow connection), and it looked like the graphics were sharper, but otherwise didn't see anything new...

Oh. Well then, I guess they were right. I guess I can trust the fact that Maxis employees will, in all cases and all facets of life, be wiser than me.

Maybe, but one of the reasons why it was cut was becuase they just did not have enough time to do everything.

I agree with Ball Lightning. They had to fix a lot before releasing Spore, and it's not quite done yet (IE space age patch needed), but heck, they'll probably throw it in in a future x-pack.
