About words linking to some pages.

Have you ever noticed that when you type debt , tobacco and other words, links appear?

What's the reason for it?

You mean hyperlinks appear in place of what you have written? If so, I've no idea.

no,for example when the word tobacco is written,it's underlined with a thick yellow line which is a link to a site about tobacco.

Nope, I've never seen that before. Sounds like your father must have installed some sort of plugin.

Yeah, I am absolutely sure it is a plugin/spyware. Those suckers are nasty to uninstall too. Probably came bundled with another piece of software like KazaA, and was installed during the KazaA install process. I hate when that happens to my computer, because my brother always seems to do it and it really slows down the computer, not to mention being very annoying.

Could be spyware, but I think I remember reading something about this and the Microsoft .NET framework. It's supposed to be a new "feature"

If it is spyware, it has to get activated and run. Is it in your registry (if so, carve it out)?
