Did you really need to spam like that? TET will post when he feels like the public should know what he's up to.

He did come back briefly a while ago.

Hi TETurkhan, are you thinking about it for more than 3 months, because it is a central part of the new Civ 3-release, that is talked about in the forums ?

Edited: If this should be the case, here is a thread what civers wish for the new release (especially fixed bugs and a better editor): http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=181825
If my "vision" is true or not - TeTurkan, I wish you good luck with your big project.

i'm waiting and i _will_ patiently wait longer cause it's definitely going to be worth it.

for now - c3c and 1.93 but when 2.0 comes out it's sure going to consume much of my time.

Just found this and its tough. Played as random => Hungary

Managed to get a foothold on where I hope oil might be (Siberia) by demolishing Poland with Germany and sharing the newer cities between us. I do like the way a harbour grants extra food production - much nicer for tundra/coast cities. Loads of skirmishes in Europe - Greece pushed back out of the continent, Rome reduced to one city and the Celts culture flipped loads. Alliance with Germany for the inevitable attack by Russia/Persia/Turkey

Thoughts -

Coal - surely some in Great Britain? I've had all sorts of fun in Siberia trying to get my hands on a little bit of the black stuff.

Horses - in spite of horses by my capital, I can't build mounted troops.

Battle - I found that my special Mediavel Troops (5-2-1) had real difficulty beating Spearmen (1-2(?)-1) on their home turf.

I hate to say it folks, but I don't think it is coming. I don't blame TET, though, as I understand all too well how hard it is for a busy perfectionist IT person to finish a grand mod. TET I would have loved to help you

Update

I started a new company, primarily dealing in real estate. In addition, my interest and thus my free time goes into learning how to make movies which ironically really came about when working on this mod. I now use an iMac 24 inch, learning Final Cut Studio 5.1, Shake 4.1

I just installed Civ3 though, it seems to run well on my Mac via Parallels. If I can find time I will complete this mod, and who knows, with the new software I might even improve on the movies made for the mod. Thats about all I can really say now, that and my sincere apologies to all the loyal fans of the mod. You deserve better than what I have been able to deliver or rather not deliver to date.

Hey TET, why not just hand over what you have? So people can finish it themselves... like an opensource project? It would be better than to let all your work go to waist. Even if its not quite 'usable', people would be able to work on the project and finish it, make it usable. Though you may have lost alot of time and money on the project, theres no reason why all of that should be for nothing. I thoroughly enjoy your mod and your contribution to my gaming experience. -Thank you.

This is one of those very few moments I hope I AM wrong. :P

TET, you once invited me to join your "Elite Design Team". I would gladly put all my modding and even my own game design on hold to help push this out. Just let me know.

Same. And I've gotten better at modding now, so I can do more than just testing and advice!

thanks

Right on, you know I really appreciate you people offering to help.

Your patience makes me feel guilty to get this mod finally done!
Okay, let me settle into my new Mac and PC and I will get this thing kick started before the end of this month.

Thanks again - if I can get a few solid people helping that would be great.

I will post when I am ready.

Happy Holidays!

-Ray (TETurkhan)
