The Christmas PBEM game

Since the point of Christmas is giving that is the point of this PBEM. The victor is decided my giving the most. You get points for giving. The number of points is undecided if you join please post you opinion. 20 points for every tech, 15 for a world map, 10 for a territory map (Maps may only be traded every 10 turns), 50 for a city and 75 for a city with wonders (Does not change with number of wonders). Since Christmas is a peaceful time there is no war. And no matter what the gift (Even if its clothes) you must accept. Trades do not count as giving. And I will start by giving you three cities, two techs and a unit for each city (Do not count as points). Standard map. Warlord level (just no make things go faster). Pangaea with no barbs.

I am not interested in playing but I have a few comments.

Once map trading is allowed, it is possible to gift your world map and territory map to each civ every turn, meaning 25points x No of civs per turn. That is quite a lot of points when compared to gifting a Wonder city for 75 points.

Are the gifts only to AI civs because two players could forge an alliance and gift all their gold and cities to each other every turn gaining all those points and then getting back their gift.

How are you going to count the points?

Okay, I found a way around this. Maps can only be traded every ten turns. Cities once given may not be given to anyone else. When you play your turn and post a GPS you must say what gifts you sent and what gifts you got (don't want people lying). And how about no gold trading.

So the ACTUAL score doesn't count toward who wins, only the points that you get from gifting things?

And, what patch do we use? And I have Civ III Complete-fully patched- so I'm kinda confused.

I'd like to get two more, but we could start with four. The patch, C3C 1.22 I guess, I'm not very good about requirements like patches. Civ 3 Complete or if you have the two expansions packs use those.
