Should CornMaster be reinstated as the Computer Tech MOD?

Just curious what the populus thinks.

As an experienced MOD and experienced technician....aren't I the logical choice?

The reason I left was a matter of time. School and two jobs is overwhelming for the best of us. No school and no job now.....I've got some time on my hands. (Although I hope to get a job soon.)

As long as he mods only that part of the forum I'd emphatically support this!

Hello CornMaster, I am pleased that the world appears to be treating you a little better now.
This thread moves to Site Feedback, as is appropriate.

AoA told me to post it in the OT!

Unfortunatally both OT MODs don't share a brain.

oops. Well, we can move it back if he still thinks so, but currently you get 1+1/2 exposure with the thread here and the redirect in OT.

No you can't be mod. You are back in canada now

Actually, you don't need to be mod to contribute your computer knowledge...case in point starlifter.

And what happened to your GC positions??!??

EDIT: I just realized the forum isn't even called tech support anymore....what a bright observer I am....flighty is the word, I believe.

Off Topic, TF can I instate a no MS Bashing rule, I don't mean to kill off all the posts in the forum but it would be nice not to here the same broken record every thread.

On second hand, it would be nice to be able to let things slide once or twice and know he's there to pick up my slack.

But all that is irrelevant as the guiding hand decides all here.

Corn certainly is knowledgable.

Should CornMaster be reinstated as the Computer Tech Moderator?

Maybe if you reduce your sig to the accepted limit of 5 lines...

Do the other mods need someone else to help out? If so I am all for Corn's input, otherwise...

I have no problem either way. I think both do a good job, and to be honest, it appears that there is less "work" required in the computer forum than the others.

You were a good mod and your knowledge on computer-related subjects is great so why not? Are you bored without a CFC-modship?

Is it necessary to be a mod when helping other posters in solving their computer problems ?

Not really but he could make threads sticky or merge similar threads together which could be helpful.

I voted yes; however, I think Gonzo is doing fine, but I'v seen him and others post about how busy Civ 3 is.

I also agree with those that say you don't need to be a mod to contribute to CT since "modding" is not a matter of technical experience (even a non-tech person could do it), but a more of a commitment to the long-term time/effort & CFC. Maybe a dual mod of CT (Gonzo/Cornmaster)?

Lefty should assimilate them into one being and rename him Gonzmaster. I don't see why not unless it truly is not necessary or someone has an underlying hatred or vendetta against Corny. But then I never go to tech support anywho...

There is a Tech Support Forum for each Civ, but Computer Talk is more than Tech Support... it's anything related to computers, graphics, etc. that people wanna talk about, from newbie stuff to really double Excedrin stuff.
