I assume by pics you mean the civilopedia images? It's up to the unit creator whether they make .pcx images. Since they're not particularly necessary to the running of the game many people just concentrate on getting the unbit out, and forget the other stuff. You'll have noticed that very few units come with civilopedia text, either. It doesn't take long to make your own, if that's what you want. For the purposes of the unit library, I consider a 'complete unit' just to be the basic .flc files.
As for sound, all of these units use sound effects that already exist in the game, just create shortcuts in the .ini file. For example the crossbowman would use the longbowman's sounds. I personally get annoyed at people posting duplicate sound files with their units - it wastes drive space, and it's impractical now that Thunderfall has lowered the file size limit. |

what about this .abm(.amb?) file? what is it for? 'cause the regular uses a .abm-file, but there weren't any .abm-files with the b-52 unit...

an .amb file plays several wav files together - again, they're not essential...
