Does any have any idea where I can find this game?
Unfortunately my old Civ1 disk is now corrupted and I cannot reinstall it onto my computer.
There are NO copies of this game in any shops anywhere near me. There is NO online way to download it, so it seems. I would really like to hear from anyone who knows how I can get my hands on the game. please email ralphs@acay.com.au cheers mike |

If you can't find it in the shops, you'll have to get it mail order. The best source nowadays is eBay where there's a steady stream of them for auction (and CivII and III). All the ones I've seen are jewel case CDs with manuals. There's two there right now at the time of my posting this (2002/08/24 21:43 UTC).
Any website offering Civ for download is doing so illegally. Civilization Fanatics takes such a dim view of this that anyone posting a link on this forum to such a site gets banned and the link is deleted.

I found it on eBay in a bundle of strategy games called "Ultimate Strategy Archives".
