Landmass Type: Earthlike (70% water)
Aridity Level: Normal

Civilization/Leader: Random
Difficulty: Emperor

Qin Shi Huang

Every nation needs a leader, and ours is not different.
This is the story of our one and only Emperor, Qin Shi Huang.
But Qin was not always our ruler.
He was once born to this earth as baby boy Chao Cheng.

Who am I? I am Li Si, prime minister of China
and once ruler when Qin's father passed away before he
was able to formally rule.
But this is not a story about me, this is about Chao.

Chao Cheng was leadership material from day one.
Even as a baby he envisioned the unification of China.

Let's Begin!
Your father is dead Chao.
Yes, yes I know...
Since you are only 13, I will rule in your stead,
until you are 22 years of age.
But I can rule now! I know I can!
No you can't! You are not properly educated yet.
Just look at you, you're still in your diapers!
But they make me a more efficient ruler!
Hush, no more nonsense from you. We got a city to build.
You can help by deciding where to settle.
I know the perfect spot. It's a valley where I play.
And there is lots of animals there to play with!
Yes that spot ain't half bad boy!
We build Beijing here. On grounds chosen by the Emperor himself!

I want to go out and play with the animals!
You there, Soldier with no facial hair. Come here!
Sir yes Sir! How may I serve my masters?
Take the boy to the animals.

Later...

Sir, if I may...
Go on.
Sir, I believe the gigantic animals could be useful to us,
if we learn how to hunt and capture them. If only for their husks.
You don't say. Take command of some of the citizens and
try to master this hunting business.

Turn 7: (3720 BC)
Tech research finished: Hunting

Soldier Boy! These husks are marvelous.
You are hereby promoted to Chief Military Adviser.
Now, start thinking about ways we could use these

Sir, thank you sir. And you too Emperor.
I just ate a booger!

Act like one!

Welcome to China! Now we can't let you pass our borders,
of course, but we shall have peace. Right Emperor?

Hehe, great story Greyfox. Love it. Would like some more overviews of the empire with some resource bubbles on if possible (as in there has to be some sea food resource propable near nanjing, otherwise I don't understand the placement), but keep it up. Will be following this thread, mwuhhahahaha. Very very nice.

Yeah Nanjing isn't a perfect city, and I thought very hard before placing it where I did.
The reasoning behind placing it there versus more south or southwest is because I'm planning another not perfect city to the SW and this way it can leech some tiles from capital when needed. (and I wanted it on a river)

Thing is I am limited in space on this peninsula. More screens will come in future updates.
I've played plenty more than I've posted, just that it takes a while to post each update. And I will have to make due with whatever screens I took at the time when I played.

Update????

at first, i thought you were Flouzemaker, only under a new alias, so as not to alert people.
good story so far, though
