How do I add animation to my airship, so when it bombs a city you see the bombs fall and see an explosion like a bomber does, I am using the BTS airship unit for a mod for CIV 4. Thanks for any help

I think I am going to omit airship from my mod. If it does not bomb then it just looks, well, gay...ha ha...so. Anyway, why did they create an airship that does not bomb, historicially it does not make sense. Airships were used for long range recon and bombing, particularly cities. The first city bombed as far as I know in WWI, was Liege in Belgium, by Zeppelins.
If someone does know how to add the bomber animation properly so the airship can bomb like a bomber let me know, Thanks. |

I'm fairly sure you need the KonverterFM to mod the airship's kfm to include the bombing animation.

I will look into it I had a zeppelin do it but the skin did not show up it was just a purple zeppelin, the unit artist says it uses bomber animations, but the unit skin does not show up, they should have a tutorial for unit animations.

Try to copy the airship skin from the original folder into the folder of your airship, that could help.

I tried that and it looks right but the bomb animations go away, so I think I have to get rid of one or even a few of the airship files, not sure which ones. I know there has to be a way to make it work. I had the same trouble with a ship General Matt made, and he fixed it by rearranging the files somehow, and it worked great, still have it in my other mod.
