Economic Mod?

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any mods that incorporate some more sophisticated economic modeling and gameplay options into Civ IV. There doesn't seem to be any discernible business cycle in the game, for example. The gold you earn seems to kind of just grow linearly with the number of cities, specialists, and tiles producing coins you control. Big empire = big economy, small empire = small economy. Religious cities remain the biggest earners to the very end of the game, something I don't think is quite accurate. Mecca, for example, can't compare to Dubai in wealth, much less London or New York or Tokyo. Corporations can counter-act that, but they barely act like real corporations and much more like the game's model of religions. And I would love some ability to affect inflation. A simple ability to raise or lower interest rates from a central bank (perhaps the result of a tech, banking or economics maybe, or perhaps a new one) could do that with a high level of realism, without adding too much complexity to play. Raise interest rates, inflation goes down but so does growth; lower interest rates, the opposite.
