Want to know why I killed BananaLee? I talked to the wine farmer Pinman, ehmm last night or morning. I told him about my ability. The wine farmer asked me to kill BananaLee because he was very suspicious of him. Apparently BananaLee was able to reduce the strength of the innocent's. That made him dangerous even if he wasn't a wolf or a vampire or a demon. I haven't used my ability before because I didn't want to kill an innocent, unfortunately I just did that. However, sometimes you just have to take a risk.

Er, I know I'm still a newbie, but how come Pinman isn't telling us who the suspects are, and still asking killers to attack people?

Are we all just blindly trusting Pinman? I'd like to know how the suspects are before we start lynching people, and before we start the random killings.

It seems like the people in the village are so shocked by the repeat morning that they stay utterly silent until midday. Other than the priest comming forward to say he wanted the ring left by the Cloth Trader, things were unchanged since morning.

For today, I trust the wine farmer. Therefore I will join the voices against Niklas. Pinman, I will give you two more kills by members of your team (i.e. lynchings, poisons, knifings, axings) before I begin to suspect you of actually being a demon. By that count, you will then have been allowed to kill three of your four suspects, and waiting longer begins to leave us open to you being the demon.

Ah, so I hear my name again. I am being suspect by virtue of being a listener rather than a talker, and for not bothering { OOC: or having the time rather } to heed the Wine Farmer's request for total openness.

But very well, the time for secrecy seems to be past, so open I shall be. But it will not be for the Wine Farmer's ears alone, for dispensing "justice" as he sees fit. I am not merely a travelling blacksmith, and I came to this village with a very specific purpose. Have you villagers stopped to ask yourself the question "why"? Why is this little otherwise peaceful village afflicted by all manner of evil magical creatures? What brings them all here? I know the answer.

I am an Elohim relic hunter, tracking down and destroying implements and artifacts of evil that bring destruction to the land. Somewhere in this village is such an artifact, of great strength. I do not know its full powers, I won't know until I have it in my hands, but I do know it has served as a beacon bringing these evil creatures here. It is my purpose to destroy it, to stop this nightmare from happening again, here or elsewhere.

For the sake of full openness:
* My ability is that I can destroy any items in my possession, through a combination of strength and magic.
* My other passive ability is that I am quite strong, quite possibly the strongest innocent in this village, at least at this point considering the demise of supposedly strong creatures like Sepuku and Tolis.
* My goal is to aquire and destroy the evil artifact that resides somewhere in this village. I would expect it to be in the hands of some secondary evil character possibly not (directly) related to the killings per se, such as an Ashen Veil cultist.

Now, with all that said, I must say I smell a fish here somewhere. If everything that's been said is true, it means that the innocents in this village has had not just one (civplayah), not just two (Catharsis), but at least three different people with accurate prophetic powers. On top of that there is also an innocent avenger (Methos) who can kill at night, and (at least) two other innocents with one-time kill abilities (J-Man and whoever poisoned Sepuku). And a person (Pinman) able to cure whoever happens to be afflicted/converted.

Against this League of Extraordinary Gentlemen there were reportedly a single werewolf (Sepuku) and a single vampire (Backwards Logic), both of whom have been neutralized by killing or by curing (and later killing). And according to Pinman there were also no more than two demons, stee plus one that remains.

I simply cannot believe that the innocents would have been made quite that powerful, or rather that the evil team(s) would have been made so paltry in comparison. I think someone here is lying, likely more than one. And since the only person really talking is Pinman, you can guess who I'm referring to primarily, though it may be that he believes his own words. Either he has been duped by a (deliberately or unknowingly) false prophet, and/or a killer with his own agenda. Or he's a part of it - I'm still looking for someone evil enough to hold the artifact I seek. I believe there is someone that really wants us to believe that the evil in this village has been all but neutralized.

I'm currently tempted to condemn either Methos or Pinman to death, since I'm quite certain at least one of them is up to no good. But I will hold my voice for now, to give them a chance to respond.

After some further thought, I would like to have a look at the book, the tools, the amulet and the ring { all to me that is }. None of them strike me as an evil artifact of great power, but better safe than sorry, and they may be evil in other ways.

Well, based on Sepuku, we know that there was a curer. The lethal abilities, we have seen exercised, so unless you think one or more of them is evil, which is a real possibility, I grant you, I don't see what there is to disagree with there. How do we know civplayah was an accurate prophet, again? I'm not disagreeing with that, I just don't remember. On the evil side, I think that we got exceptionally lucky, and you underestimate the power of conversion. If they hadn't nabbed the initial converters, then on day five, each could have converted four more people, and even if the lynchers plus the curer had nabbed four baddies, we'd still be facing eight baddies at this time, or nine, given that good demons also seem to have been convertible (see TFA).
I'm all in favor of everyone putting there stories out there, but at the moment, I don't see how there are many assumptions in Pinman's line of thought.
For the record, I'm just a sheep farmer. I had an hourglass that I used today to prolong the day. I now have a relatively large number of accusatory votes between a marriage bonus and my objective being complete. That's it.

There are enough people who know exactly whats going on that this doesnt really matter.

I name ZPV then, Niklas is right that there is in fact an evil item in the village- Something that he is unlikely to know if he was guilty. The other, final person I am unsure of is CCRunner.

EDIT: He is however wrong in that he assumes it neccisarily needs to be destroyed. Again, my allies all know of its existance, and revealing it in the thread would be extremely unwise of me.

Incidently, I know there was a single vampire because I was converted into one, and BL spilled all to me.......
Plus, we confirmed that catharsis was also converted.

As for the lone wolf, well Sepuku was innocent when he told us that.

I can absolutely, with 100% certainty tell you that Methos isnt duping me, and he can confirm that Catharsis scanned me.
