Two Buffy issues

I used Buffy today for the first time, and I think it is great. Thanks to everyone involved. Two issues I am having however:

1. If I load a saved game from the interface, it crashes to the desktop. I can double click the file from a file manager, and it will open just fine. Not that big of a deal, but kind of irritating when I trying to cheat (reload).

2. The bigger problem (but still not too bad). If I attack a square with multiple enemy units at the same time (stack attack), it will crash to desktop if I attack with enough unit to win. If I attack with one too few and then finish off the lone survivor with a single attacker, then it works just fine. This seems to go for capturing cities as well as plots out in the open. The screen goes dark (the pointer is still visible), and then it crashed to the desktop.

I'm running on Windows/XP with BTS 3.19.
