Civ4 BTS Adding buildings to an existing mod.

I am considering re-adding more "National" and "World Wonders" to my pre-built cities in my RTW mini-mod.

Would this just be a simple XML exercise, (i.e. buildinginfo files and art files), or do I need to more heavy lifting (i.e. c++ coding)

Put it in the XML, then put them in the Cities through WB.

Thanks for that. I just think it would be good to have more wonders in my "world" cities.

Reading this tutorial. http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=188708 will help.

How do I ensure that the buildings are available in Worldbuilder but not as build options for players ?

Setting "iMaxPlayerInstances" in CivBuildingClassInfos to 0 ?

Oh one more question. So long as I do not need to modify the Schema file I don't need to make any SDK changes ?

mmhh...there are several things, which you could change in the SDK, but if you don't need anything...

I am having difficulty finding the ART files for many of the buildings

In C:\Program Files (x86)\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Art\Structures\Improvements\, I can only find, Farm Pasture and WaterMill. There is no "Buildings" Folder. However, there are some in Warlords and BTS Folders.

I can not find any *.dds for standard building like Walls, Castles, Harbours etc, and most of the Wonders ?

Most of the vanilla art is packed into 4 big files, the .fpks (CivilizationIV\assets\).
You can open them with PakBuild.
