alternate tech
Our research queue is set for the imediate future (Philosophy, Currency, Trade), but we need an alternate tech or two in case our first choices are unavailable. Please vote for what you would like to research IF nothing in our first list is available.

If we want Republic, the easy way to manage that is with Mike's Chapel. As ridiculous as it sounds, I may vote for HBR, which leads to Polytheism, and with Philosophy, Monotheism and Mike's

Yes, it is so ridiculous that I voted for it too before seeing your comments. Another one in the eye for the boat brigade I'm afraid, but I want elephants and crusaders to take the fight to the AI when we get across to them. If we plan to attack the Indians then we can take Masonry from them as they've got the Pyramids. I think that would be a sensible place to begin our offensive offensive.

Given duke's comment about taking Masonry from the AI I agree to go for HBR
I think we can hold off Republic until we've at least started Mich's.

As Mike's Chapel is the highest priority wonder to build, I concur with HBR. I also agree with Duke's military strategy.

Well I wouldn't really call it a strategy, just the groundwork before we can think about where and when to hit them. I'd like to see some dips join the action if possible, once we've taken their capital and liberated the Pyramids.

As much as I want boats, I've voted for horseback riding. We need to build some offensive unit's to crush the AI. However, we'll need boats to get to their island.
