Mods who Work for Mac BTS:

I just have installed BTS on a Mac, and I'm hungry to play it for a loong time (all those years…) I and I thank: BTS would be better with other Mods and scenarios(logically), so I ask if someone knows who are some mods or scenarios playable for Mac.
Quot Capita?
Revolutions?
Three Kingdoms?
…?

Thanks

No, no, and no. All three use a custom dll, sorry. You can look through the Mac Modding Index in my sig, but there's not much there. Just look around and see which mods don't have a dll, so we at least have a chance to play them.

Another question:
Why there is a Mesoamerica scenario?
and why I cannot play FfH 2 as a Mod, only as a scenario?
In FfH in Mac BTS I can only play with the Amurites I think it is and only one type of map.
I downloaded it from here but it doesn't work.

FfH has a custom DLL. Mods with custom DLLs will not run with Mac Civ4 software. You may be able to load a WorldBuilder file as a scenario, but even that will fail if it requires access to civs or units that rely on DLL features.

You can answer that as easily as anyone else:

1. Download it and look in its folders. If there is a file called CvGameCoreDLL.dll then it won't work, either partially or fully. If there are only Art and XML files then it may work.

2. If there is no CvGameCoreDLL.dll then put it in ~/Documents/Civilization IV Beyond the Sword/Mods/ and try to load it using the in-game menu Advanced->Load a Mod

3. If it fails to load, and gives XML error messages, then use TextWrangler to open the files named in the error messages, and Zap Gremlins to remove illegal characters.

4. If it still doesn't work, then come back and tell us what you've found and we can try to help.

5. If it does work, then come back and tell us what you had to do to make it work.
