pop up bug: not working in game
there are these usefull info pop-ups in the game that appear when you mouse over certain things (like when making a choice to research something new or to build a new unit or building). after a couple days of playing these pop ups have disappeared and now i'm totally lost, i dont know what anything really does now.
i recently changed around some of the games settings but i didnt change "advisor's pop ups" or "sids tips" so i have no idea why they are disappearing the pop ups will be there for a turn or two but will stop appearing, they only return once i exit and start up the game again. sorry if this has been posted already, i didnt find any search function, can anyone help me? |

the issue disappeared once i upgraded to BTS
new problem though, my swordsmen stopped gaining new exp points after getting to 10 of them, kinda annoying |

kill something else than barbarians - and this issue goes away
 the designers capped the xp from animals and barbs at 10XP. |

The mouse-over tips have intermittent problems in Vanilla Civ whenever "right-click menu" option is enabled.
A way of getting them back is to enter any city screen, and then exit back out. I know... annoying. BTS, the problem seems to be better.
