New Title Screen

Hated old one, too brown. Made a more welcoming one instead.

Makes it feel right when you're starting a new game aswell.

Don't download the preview pic below, its the wrong size and format.

unzip it into your civ3/art/ dir and overwrite.

For some reason that picture reminds my of Doyle's The Lost World.

I really loved your graphic but I thought the sky was boring and there wasn't anything great on the land. I was working at changing it for myself but I can't get it to work. I put the sky from the era splash and put in a better text graphic like the original one but I changed the colors to more blue and tan tones. I also cut and pasted a caravel to be on your little ocean. BUT it just won't work, will it does a little but I get little black dots all over on some of the picture, even on Snoopy's original work. I will try to post the picture I did later to see if you or anyone can help. Or maybe you will make a better one Snoopy!

Overall, I like it. It goes well with your latest tile set. My only criticism is that it doesn't show any signs of civilization.

I was thinking of putting a small township by the river and coast, if I get enough time I might do it (i'll be hard!)

I had to make it small because of the size limit of 25000 bytes or something like that.

Ok here is my improvent to Snoopy's Title. I just added a sky, better title, and a caravel ship on the little ocean. I also added my name Steve next to Snoopy's in the bottom right corner to have recognition.

Big thanks to Snoopy for making the land graphics!

Yeah, maybe you were disconnected while uploading the image (farfetched perhaps)

anyways, With Joselias sky and the original (though blue) Logo, snoopy's image will be more interesting.

And yes, there need to be some show of civilizations in the image, although I can smell the feel of "Need of Civilization" of the area

Maybe a Scout looking over the area? (Standing on that mountain)

Sorry for the long wait on the re-post for the title. I took me a while to get the size under 102400 bytes! Enjoy it. Although I still have not figured out how to make it work in the game, if someone can figure that out please help me.

I think the caravel is far to big( i havent seen more than just 10% of pic before now)

i think it would look wicked cool if you had a unit (whatever floats your boat) standing on the cliff looking tward the ship

This looks pretty cool. I would shrink the caravel just a tad and go with a unit on the cliff.
