Huh???
when i had my old civ3 i can choose weather to destroy cities or take them over, but now when i upgraded to 1.29f i can't do that anymore, it just destroys the city. That sucks.... is there a feature to enable takeover/destory choice or the update sucks that much?

That usually happens when the city is only a 1 population, but other than that there should be an option to destroy or keep.
BTW: there is V1.29 patch out now too
