Sitting Bull's Cough
Perhaps someone has posted about this without me noticing, in which case I apologize, but I'd like to share something I realized the other day. Like many others, I wondered why Sitting Bull has such a bad cough. There have been many speculations. Then it suddenly dawned on me that his bad cough is due to all those peace pipes he smokes. No mystery at all.
But does the cough indicate that he is well disposed to you and smokes peace pipes with you all the time, or that smoking a pipe with you really taxes his health because he doesn't really like you? |

I'm pretty sure it simply refers to all those peace pipes. Not to forget that whatever evils the Europeans brought to the Indians, the Indians introduced the Europeans to smoking.

Well, in TV, people only cough if they're gonna die in the show, so it obviously means that he will die at the hands of your army.
