Help - My Naval Units dont show the bombard option
Hiya All
Im playing Civ 4 and have battleships and destroyers but the option to bombard cities does not show up - anybody have any ideas? Thanks Len |

Welcome to CFC!
By bombarding, do you mean destroying the city defense or attacking the units? In civ4, naval units can only destroy city defense, and cannot lower the health by range bombardment. You probably couldnt bombard the city because either you already destroyed the city defense or the city does not have any in the beginning.

Thanks for repplying yes its my first posting!!
Yes I do mean bombarding the cities and not the units. When its my battleship's and destroyers go's I do not get the option at the bottom of the screen to bombard any of my enemies city so I havent been able to make any bombardment at all in the game. Thanks... Len |

Is this basic Civ 4 without any expansions? Is it patched to 1.74?
If you post a save maybe someone could have a look.
