[Vanilla] A humble World War II scenario...

The scenario begins in September of 1939... Germany (Along with the Soviet Union) has declared war on Poland, attacking from both sides. As a result, the United Kingdom and France have declared war on Adolf Hitler. On the other side of Eurasia, the second Sino-Japanese war rages on, with Imperial Japan controlling nearly half of the Republic of China. The United States, arguably the most industrially powerful and resource-rich nation in the world remains neutral. However, are much more likely to sway towards the allies. Franco's Spain on the other hand, is a possible contender for joining the axis powers, as well as tiny Romania... whose oil fields, this could be a valuable asset to Hitler's Reich. Farther north, Stalin, still at peace with Hitler, has plans to regain the small Scandinavian nation of Finland, and the tension between the two states could break any time.
So, will you play as Hitler and spread an Aryan new world order across Europe? Or perhaps the allies, and help to sow the seeds democracy? Or even Stalin, and fulfill the plan of a Soviet Union stretching from the Pacific to the Atlantic...

This will be a simple Vanilla scenario with no mod or anything.
I'm currently about 70-80% done with the map and cities, all that is really left to do is finish Africa, South America, then work on the cities, and finally, place units).

As you can see, I have tried to keep the borders and city names close to how they were in 1939, while maybe cheating here or there for more playability.

This is my first scenario, so I'm open to any criticism.

No offence but Sweden's cities have bad names. If you're going to place Stockholm there (I'd prefer 1N), you can't have it on the same latitude as Helsinborg (which is, in actuality, where Trelleborg is).

1) Move Stockholm 1N.
2) Change Helsinborg to Göteborg.
3) Change Trelleborg to Malmö (Malmö's population is at about 200 000-600 000 (depends on how you count it - you can choose to include the closeby muncipalities as well); Trelleborg's is at 25 000.

None taken, this constructive criticism is actually why I posted it

And "Cluj-Napoca" has been changed to "Budapest", although I don't know if the civilization should be called "Romania" or "Hungary".

Just curous though, I can't type umlauts on my gaming computer, can Swedish umlauts be changed like the German ones? (Like ö to oe?)

Well, for this game I'd recommend you just forgo the umlaut and go with Malmo and Goteborg. Goeteborg and Malmoe looks and sounds really wrong.

Yep. No mod, no BTS or Warlords.

It probably can be very easily ported to bts (just by saving it as a different file IIRC, or I think BtS can open it natively), if there's no mod involved.

Change Toronto to Sudbury. If you were to put Toronto on the map it would be just NE of Detroit, which would be impossible.

Sorry for the double post, but I'd also move Quebec down 1 square to the south. And Ottawa one east. (But that would probably make it too crowded, so perhaps not.) Also for what i'm assuming is Halifax (I can't see the name) move it down to the southern part of the peninsula.

And I betcha all thought I forgot about this. Well, no sir. After a little while of being afraid that I'd accidentally deleted the file when my computer crashed, I just uncovered it again yesterday! And I've been busting my arse off to get some work done... Here are some more details...

- The scenario is now BTS, and will initially be released as such, however, I plan on "downgrading" it for vanilla as well.
- The central European fascist nations are called "The Kingdom of Hungary", run by Miklos Horothy
- Portuguese colonies belong to Spain, Belgian/Dutch belong to France
- South America is the only continent left to be created. Then, I'll place units, and we'll be finished.
