Disband the Team?

Team Quatronia has very low activity and membership compared to other teams.

Do the 5 of you that are posting here really want to continue trying to make the team work, or would you prefer to join a more active team?

5 is big enough for a team I think. As long as we have a dedicated diplo person and a few turn players, I think we should be fine...

EDIT: Please do not disband this team yet! I have just post over at Realms Beyond, where there is great interest in joining this game. Hopefully, a bunch of them will join up here. Admins, please give us some time. Thanks.

It does seem true Provolution is away in real life or something, though nothing against him of course, and we'll welcome him back. But we hardly need to have a "team leader" and anyway I'm guessing I along with the others here would certainly be willing and ready to encourage discussion, new recruits etc... We could even work on changing some of our ideas/structure/themes/roleplaying but so far we seem to have a workable framework, just need a few more members.

In short, I don't want us to be disbanded either! I've been busy but when this game gets started I certainly think I'll be active and contributing, and I trust the others here that we'll have a solid team.

The minimum roles you need are:

Turn player - to play your turns
Backup turn player - to keep the game moving if the primary player misses a turn
Ambassador - to vote in official polls on the public forum
Diplomat - to make deals with other teams

I'll worry a lot less if you can get someone to fill each role.

Yeah, we should probably set up a team email account pretty soon then too (for diplo), but I think we can fill those roles. I understand the concern both from the perspective of the other teams and an adminstrator - I'd talked to a couple of folks from other teams in fact who were also expressing honest concerns and sincere best wishes. But I think we could get a few more members and if those that are here are going to be active, we shouldn't be letting things down for anyone else on the game overall.

I'd rather not disband the team just yet however I am concerned that me may be seen as an easy target. Personally I think the low membership is a good thing from an administrative / organisation POV. I do concede, however, that it isn't exactly a Team Demogame without a larger player base.

I've been holding back considering that I'm unfamiliar / inexperienced with the game but it sounds like we need to step up and get on with it.

I am here, and more people may come in later. We just need to ban newly created profiles with only a few posts, because these are likely made to spy on us.

Yes, but as it has been explicitly banned by the game rules it'll be hard to get away with and dealt with severly. I would be suspicious of any account created after the game starts TBH.
