RTOR 4 opinions and suggestions
I have selected 5 points in history for the next RTOR, modded by me. It would be helpful if people could post suggestions and tell me which era would make the best RTOR.
Don't worry, RTOR 2 has helped me figure out what to do better and what not to do (i.e. not to be biased toward anyone). Of course, RTOR 4 will not be posted until Toasty's RTOR 3 is either dead or on its way out. This is just a place to post ideas and suggestions. EDIT: Of course, it would be helpful if i told you the five points in time: Alexander the Great Rise of the Roman Empire Colonization of America Cold War Future Eras (in space or just on planet earth in the future.)

what kind of system will u have this time, Eq? If you maje some sort of battle system, i will take Egypt.
And may i suggest you split Sparta and Athens, instead of Greece. And if you need, i can help you with more realistic civs for the time. Jason

I would have split Greece, but i don't know how many people there will be. It depends on how many people join. You are probably right.
Don't worry i have more of a system this time. The problem is that it makes me feel like i am abandoning what RTOR stands for. But for the sake of fairness here is the system: Each army size equals a number. the number will be added to a dice roll. simply whoever has the highest roll wins the battle. The difference in between rolls will be the amount of damage done to the opposing army. A defending army adds 1 to its roll. Also a new stat added to the game will effect fighting. This stat is Confidence in Leader. Yes, now you have to deal with your people as well as other players. This is something entirely new to NESs. Losing battles, assinations, and atrocities will effect your people's attitude. Should it fall low enough, you could have a military coup, rebellion, or even a revolution. In battle the confidence in leader will give +1 to the army with highest confidence. More information on stats added during RTOR 2 and this new stat here will be provided when RTOR 4 opens Monday. The thread for RTOR 4 will be posted tonight to give time for signing up and claiming nations. Monday the NES will begin and we will see if Alexander will do it again and if he can hold it this time.

galia (if that is how its spelled) serves no point to the theme and has no real purpose.
No information on nations will be given until the NES's start. That way it will be more interesting.
