What site can I buy a downloadable BTS expansion?
Hi, I'm an aussie guy who has recently moved to Thailand and I'm having no luck at finding anywhere that sells BTS, i already own vanilla.
Was just wondering if anyone could recommend a pay site that i can download BTS from? thanks a lot. Snarz.. |

Gamestop and steam are others that come to mind. Check that the expansion you are sold will work with the disc Civ 4, some people have had issues (ie: it doesn't work) mixing downloaded and disc versions, but I can't remember which combination it was so safer to check when you buy.

You can go to steam or direct2drive, which is where i downloaded Civ IV and all expansion packs, both work good.

steam versions of games will not work with retail or vice versa lol. I had this problem when I bought ME2TW:K and already owned retail ME2TW and it wouldnt allow me to install kingdoms and vice versa as i said because I had Call of Duty and wanted to get United Offensive but it would let me install it because there was no COD lol

Someone has posted on this board that the Gamestop version does not work on a disc based civ 4. So don't get that one!

the only retailer that to my knowledge promises compatibility with their online product with a disc version of Civ4 is D2D.
Steam definitely doesn't work and Gamestop is unlikely to work. |
