Earth 18 civ

ok i enjoy playing the Earth 18 civs scenario more than any other and want advice on any of the civilizations when playing (except with the 3 civs in the America's) more than anything im wanting the link for the thread/threads that had a player going through what to do with different civs and tips for them, i found a thread about 6 months ago with a guy doing this it had a huge amount of pages as it included screenshots and what he did etc and i cant find it, if anyone could put the link into this thread or any other helpful links i would be extremely grateful

also is there anyway that you can get it so you can simply spectate only computers playing a game of 18civs? id love to see how that pans out

You might like Neal's King of the World series. He takes each civilization on Earth 18 to play. He did something very similar to this - player takes each CIV for 25 turns. I think China won. With only computers playing, you can forget the Inca, Japan, Mali. Most European Civs sit there with 2-3 cities. China, Russia and Aztec would be my bet as the major powers. Aztec get their own continent after dealing with FDR usually. Very good spot for Monty - one person to kill to get a continent.

Quite different from human players. The computer seldom does anything with Rome, but Rome is awesome in human hands. Europeans are best for humans but computer doesn't handle them well.

It's a MAD, MAd, MAd, MAd World was played as Ganghis Khan

King George III (deleted New World Civs)

Captain Jean-Luc Picard (transferred Louis to Australia)

The dalai Lama (a OCC from Tibet)

Simon Bolivar (Playing as Joao in the Amazon)

Except for the Khan game all were somehow modified in Worldbuilder to get a little more FUN out of the earth-18 Map!

well, the only way you can do this is to open world builder, reveal map, put a great spy in everybodies capital, create a 1-tile island somewhere in the ocean, found your city there, and just watch what everybody does without getting involved.

I do believe some mods out there let you let the AI auto play for you for a set number of turns
