Question A new PTW forum?

Well, since PTW is out, shouldn't there be a forum for it? Or are you guys just going to keep the PTW discussion in the Civ 3 forums?

Thunderfall said a while back that since PTW is an expansion pack for Civ3, that means it's Civ3, and that means all PTW discussion can go on in the Civ3 Forums. It doesn't need a forum of its own.

I think that Steve Winer was hinting on more of a PTW sub-forum, like the sub-forum created to post PTW glitches. I'd like that - it would distinguish PTW discussions from Civ3 discussions.

I would like it too, but TF has said that no forum, sub forum, or any other type of seperation will be made for PTW.

I'm gonna set myself up for a whoopin' by thunderfall but I think we should have one for these reasons
1. Newbies won't post in wrong forums (As much)
2. Many of the PTW polls and stuff are taking up the general discussion area
3. By having a longer amount of time before the threads are coered by a new layer of posts reoccuring posts may be curbed

I'd prefer PTW to be looked at just as Civ3 ... and for the forums to keep reflecting that. It's nice not to have an overwhelming number of forums on the same topic ... with half of the discussions being the same in both.

or you could just ask everyone who starts a new thread to put civ3 or PTW at the top
