On my campaign, I am now going to beat the Juan dude (ahh arrogance I love it). His Kingdra alwas uses the double team so I can't hit him. Luckily I know have trained my Pidgeot so he can inflict enough damage with the never missing Aerial Ace.

Sharpedo and Geardevoir are my 2 worst team memberes, but I can train them to level 40 in no time. Sharpedo however is only on the time as the HM B|tch, (surf, dive, waterfall). My Kadabra evolved into an Alakazam in level 40, no idea how that happened and My togepi evolved into togetic when he reached level 30.

Hearing rumours of a tough family of trainers, I headed to the Winstrate residence.

Everything went swimmingly. Right up until the Grandmother's Meditite got a critical-hit High Jump Kick.

Sadly, my potions and soda pop had ran out long ago during this struggle, and was still faced with both Manectric and Magneton.

I thought, just maybe, she could take down the already-crippled Manectric before her last but, it was not to be.

Epilogue

After the long, silent sea voyage with Briney back to Petalburg, Steven had come to Petalburg gym.

He had reached the front door, and had almost entered, but.. couldn't.
He had always been so estranged from his father.
To come before him now, in his darkest hour.. Would be unbearable for Steven.

So, he travelled on, past Oldale, into Littleroot.

May caught him as he entered. "I-I'm sorry.."
"It's..not your fault. Every risk I took, I took knowing full well the danger.
I gambled with my companions lives and, in the end, payed the price."
"..
Well, you could still go on... You could ask my dad for another pokemon, couldn't you?"

It was worth a shot. He had nothing left to lose.

But Birch wouldn't see it our way.
"Don't be greedy..
You had your pokemon!
Other trainers need them too."

They tried arguing their case, but to no avail. Eventually they gave up, and May prepared to go home for the night.

"Don't beat yourself up over this, okay?"

With that, he was left alone outside his house.

However he had no intention of facing his Mom in this state.

A couple hours later, he reached the beach near Mr.Briney's again.

Travelling through the wild took much longer without pokemon for protection.

He looked quietly out across the unforgiving ocean, a small tear trickling down his cheek.

And he stepped softly into the wash.

The search for local trainer, Steven from Littleroot, closes today after three weeks of fruitless investigation.

The hunt had long been considered hopeless, after it was confirmed by a childhood friend that it was indeed his headband that had been discovered, washed up on the shore of Dewford.

As it could only have come in on the waves, Steven is missing, presumed lost at sea.

Hoenn officials are busy comforting the grieving mother.

(Although I have great respect for Locke's sub-plot in his series about Norman's Vigoroth being his "brother". )

However, have no fear. I've already downloaded Fire Red Omega.

I'll keep Nuzlocke'ing for at least one more run.
