Well none of them were my enemies they all just randomly dowed me
then i peaced them 10 turns later dow again |

The apostolic palace with it's declare war on heathens vote. Alternatively, you can just have handled your diplo poorly / remained militarily weak and have had a declaration of war from a technologically advanced enemy who then used bribes to have others declare on you. This is something that can happen only when you play your diplo really bad or have a really bad selection of enemies. If you remain militarily weak, certain AI's will opt to backstab you when others declare on you.

post your save...really hard to comment without seeing the game and since you have provided little info about it. It does sound like the AP.
Choose your religion wisely and try to ally with a religious bloc. Don't be the only Bud or Conf when the rest of the world is Hindu or whatever. And just because you found a religion doesn't mean you have to adopt it - unless you spread it quickly and get several ais converted to your religion. As for making peace, first of all, AIs will generally not speak to you for several turns unless you kill a lot of their units or take some cities. Once at peace look a diplo modifiers like adopting a different religion, trading, adopting favorite civics. etc. etc. |
